What’s The Job - Internet Marketing?

Hi All,

I have been asked to come up with the position name and job description for a new job.

The position is for an internet marketer that is strongly involved in social networking management and planning. Also including general business and traditional marketing.

This is an Marketing Executive position.

Any Ideas what the position should be called?

I would like to suggest:

Information Marketing Officer (IMO) Or

Information Marketing Executive (IME) Or

Marketing Executive 2.0 (updated version of Traditional Marketing)

What do you say?…Creative & Catchy, Right?

How can i create a free online store?

Would you trust buying something from an online store the old fashion way, without using paypal?

I’m creating an online store (to sell jewelry I make and small things like that, nothing expensive) but I can’t use paypal or credit card, so the person buying the stuff will have to do it the old fashion way, buy mailing the money to me and I’ll mail them the thing they bought. Would you trust that method is you were the buyer?

Sorry, but I would never use a site which would not take a credit card for the transaction. Would not trust that the item would be shipped. I would feel the site is a bit shady and fly by night not to be set up at a minimum to take orders in such a way.

Could you look through my writing and correct my grammatical mistakes? part 2?

Hi:) Could you look through my writing and correct my grammaticall mistakes? It is a part of my coursework. Thank you very much for your help!

"All of businesses that want to benefit for international presence must be aware that some government regulations and policies are possibly different. Law in England and will vary and business that is expanding should have good knowledge about low under which they are going to operate in the future. Lack of knowledge could cause serious and expensive problems in the future.

Form my own experience, I know that USA’s law and regulations are different form those in the European Union. For example, three years ago when I was looking for a laptop with high specification, I realized that it is much cheaper to buy a laptop from one of the biggest online retailer which was located in USA. If you buy a product from outside the Europium Union particular product is shipped to you and you have to remember about additional costs, such as: taxes which depend on what US state the seller is in. The selling price which was stated on the webpage was very attractive and unfortunate it didn’t include additional costs. Finally, when I nearly purchased the laptop I discovered that I needed to spend some extra money on tax purposes.
Each business which operates internationally must remember that a potential customer may feel cheated if he or she will find out after purchasing that it is necessary to add $150 to selling price of $500 for tax purposes and shipping purposes. All businesses which distribute their products to audience in different countries should remember to inform them about additional costs.

The business which wants to expand also should be aware that some foreign languages are completely different, for example Arabic is read form right to left. Some advertising slogan could be difficult to translate. Even when it can be translated it could be difficult to understand for foreigners and the advert will be not as effectible as it was on home market. There are many examples of translations that went disastrously wrong. For example, when translated into Chinese, the KFC slogan "finger-lickin’ good" came out as "eat your fingers off". In some countries, some types of adverts are not allowed to be shown in public and as I mentioned before is this task some adverts can by taken as offensive because of cultural differences, different priorities in life or different sense of humour.
The owner of the business that want to expand and operate in different countries must have specific knowledge about foreign culture and markets because a cultural difference can have a big impact on the way how business is operating, A lack of knowledge can be expensive and can cause many future problems. In different countries there may be some restrictions on what can be shown and what cannot.

The owner of the business must make sure that he or she has a good knowledge about the culture and the market where the new business will be operating and run the marketing campaign."
No, it wouldn’t that be cheating. I wrote everything in by myself and i just need to correct my errors :(

Help with greeting card business start up?

I am seriously considering starting up my own greeting card line. I am currently doing research online and at local retailers to understand the market further. Where I am stuck is where can I locate guidelines/tips to search for already copyrighted work to ensure that I (1) don’t duplicate cards that are already on the market and (2) save my work from being pirated? Any help/direction is appreciated!

The link below has lots of information on copyrights, on fair use, and on protecting your own material. Don’t be too overwhelmed by it all. It’s not that hard to copyright your stuff. And with your greeting cards, you’ll be able to copyright in batches (most likely) making it very, very affordable to protect your rights to your work.

A website to help me find my perfect computer? Easy to install different processors? Computer shopping.?

And it will tell me based on my selections which computers match regardless of brand? Example: Say I put in that I want an Intel Core i5 processor, at least 4GB DDR3 RAM, 500GB HDD space, and a 15" or smaller screen. Then I want the website to be able to tell me which computers match these specs (I have more specs than this that I want, and I would like to have a range instead of exact numbers, i.e. 10"-15" screen) regardless of what brand it is (so I don’t want like Dell’s website, or Toshiba’s). I was thinking maybe Best Buy or another computer retailer might have something like this, but if possible I’d like something on a larger scale so I can search beyond just that store’s inventory. I’d like it to tell me all the possible matches based on what is on the market right now, and then I could go look for that model at different retailers. I know something like this has to exist, but I am not even sure how to search for it. I am tired of clicking on hundreds of computers at online retailers, just to find that something about the specs don’t match. I also can’t afford to have a computer custom built. I am REALLY looking for something like HP’s tablet touch-screen notebook, but I refuse to have an AMD processor because when I have had them in the past it feels like my computer may catch flame at any moment. While we are on the subject of computer purchasing, does anyone know how difficult/expensive it would be to buy one of those tablet PCs I was talking about, and replace the AMD processor with a Intel Core i3-i7? That would pretty much be my perfect computer. Or does anyone know of anything similar? I am trying to avoid a Toshiba, they used to be my favorite brand (I remember having one that was like five inches thick back in "the day" lol) but the last one I had (and the reason I am shopping) is because the screen started going out soon after purchase, overheating problems, battery problems, random HDD crashes, freezing, etc. has sworn me off the brand unless I find something that is just EXACTLY what I am looking for.

Newegg.com has something close. Their power search gives you more options than any person might need. Mark every item in a category that might be acceptable to you, and it will narrow the field down to just the laptops that match. They’re currently carrying 228 different laptop/notebook computers, so there’s a wide variety to choose from.
